This socket is for the front wheel bearings on most Nissan Patrols.

Why do I need this large socket?

This is a required tool when replacing the wheel bearings or doing swivel hubs on your solid axle Nissan Patrol 4WD,

You will find that there two 54mm nuts holding the wheel bearings in place. These nuts hold the desired pressure against the bearings, in turn supporting the hub on the spindle. They need to be removed, and new ones fitted with this tool.

The rear hub socket is a different style with Pins.
