⚠️ Model-Specific Notes

• • 2002+ HDJ100 Toyota Landcruiser 5 Speed Manual models with the facelift dash suffer from a light engine shake on deceleration when fitted with any injector bigger than standard. There is an imbalance fuel from what the factory ECU recognises and it’s fuel quantity limitation strategy to return the engine to a smooth idle. With this imbalance, it can cause the engine to shake while rolling to a stop or slowly taking off from a set of traffic lights. It’s no harm on the engine.
  • 2002+ HDJ100 5 Speed Auto models, we only recommend going as big as the +17 set. Anymore will hurt the transmission, as they deliver too much torque down low for it to hold.
  • All HDJ79 Series are recommended to go for a set of +17’s if you are considering just a standard injector replacement. This allows a tuner to get a little bit more power out of your car safely when paired with a turbo upgrade, intercooler or Unichip in the future, as it is so common to do so. This factor is irrelevant if you are already chasing a power goal with a set of high flow injectors.
  • When removing your old set of injectors, be careful not to damage the threads on the injector where the lines go on. If you try and pry them out of the engine on these, and damage the threads, it is unlikely you will be reimbursed a core charge. If they are tight, you can use a slide hammer in the injector return hole.

Are they daily-driver friendly?
Yes. High flow injectors just need matching air (boost & intercooler).
