Robust-NRS-XL-WH – Extra Large Negative Rake Scraper with 16″ Maple Handle

Our extra large negative rake scraper is made of nitrided HSS and measures 1 3/8” across and 3/8″ thick.

The bottom edges are radiused so that you can use it at an angle for even more effective cutting. Sharpening just the bottom bevel maintains the nitriding on the top edge.

Over time, you may eventually remove the top bevel and need to regrind it to maintain the negative rake. Just remember, there is premium heat treated HSS under the nitriding, so you will still have a superior tool.

The solid maple handle is 16” long and features a stainless steel ferrule.
